Sandi Maki, our founding broker, started her real estate career as an administrative assistant for The Real Estate Center in Adrian, Michigan. There, she found an entirely new world in the terminology and focus in the real estate world, and she’s been intrigued ever since. Even then, she was always creating new ideas to market properties and creating email marketing before it had even caught on! The company was eventually sold to a bigger franchise broker, and Sandi was instrumental in managing details of the merger and maintaining the energy of the office during the transition period.
After the merger the company shifted into one that wasn’t as fun anymore. Always the optimist, Sandi knew it was time to move on, and she found a cozy home at the Danberry Company., Sandi worked closely with the agents and management to both facilitate deals and train new agents, running new agent training classes to help the company grow. She also studied for and earned her real estate license, adding value to the office and clients in new ways.
Sandi eventually relocated to the Brighton area, and obtained her Broker’s License. Continuing her love for marketing she is the managing partner of operations and marketing genius behind the campaigns of Ask the Pool Guy, and the Boutique brand of the Legendary Escapes Swimming Pool Company.
Sandi is a co-founder of the InSights Group, an entrepreneur support community, and author of Our Certain Way and Organic Marketing: A Guide to Defining Your Certain Way (2015). Her passion for marketing, and her love for real estate have come together to create Legendary Real Estate.
